Last year, a couple of friends and I took a late summer trip to Temecula wine country. We decided to go again this year and maybe annually.
Our first stop was Miramonte Winery for their VIP tour and tasting, which we bought off Groupon.
Afterwards, we went to our favorite Peltzer Winery for a tasting. They had $15 (instead of $20) tastings for teachers.
We booked a sweet AirBnb, drank wine, and watched “Bachelor in Paradise.”
The week looked like this: sushi, ice cream cones, and hanging with Baron after long days at work.
One glass became too many glasses and cried a lot…
In preparation for Monday, the first day of my 6th year teaching, I did all the relaxing things. I started with a 5 mile trek.
I did some shopping, a little yoga, and walked another 3 miles in the evening.
