2nd Annual Las Vegas Christmas Trip

This year, Jordan and I decided to head to Las Vegas to go clubbing, eat at a buffet, and see a show. We did 2 of the 3 things – we didn’t eat at a buffet but I’d love to try the Bacchanal Buffet next year.

I vowed to make this short vacation good. I strangely have a hard time being on trips and having fun whenever I’m seeing someone. The night before, we got into a big tiff too.

We stayed in an AirBnb in old downtown/Fremont Street. We started by sharing a sandwich at Bin 702 at the Downtown Container Park, Frankie’s Tiki Room owned by the same owners of The Golden Tiki, a cocktail at Velveteen Rabbit by a guest bartender from The Patterson House in Nashville!, the numbing Verbena cocktail at The Chandelier Bar in the Cosmopolitan, dancing at the Hyde Bellagio, and found Secret Pizza for an unreal slice.

On Christmas Eve morning, I woke up earlier to get coffee and breakfast at Mothership Coffee & Sunrise Coffee in Henderson. I took a walk around Ethel M Chocolates and their cactus garden.

In the afternoon, we walked to Nacho Daddy for lunch.

We had a fancy time walking through the Paris hotel, hanging out at this beautifully styled bar.

We walked miles along the Strip and made our way to the Rio Hotel. They had an exhibit, Global Winter Wonderland, that helped kill some time before going to a show at midnight.

We had Sonic (chicken tenders) delivered at 3am on Christmas Day and I smoothed over things with the guy throughout the drive home. Whew.
